Utensils

One important thing about preparing food in the kosher is the pots and pans that you use commonly referred to as “Utensils.” I like to refer to them as your pots and pans so we call them “U” tensils because it is what every woman of the household prefers to use for the cooking kosher. Today we have a large selection of utensils such as:

Cast iron as used in the olden days.
Aluminum heavy duty to take all the heat from baking to stove top cooking.
Corning Wear that goes from stove to refrigerator
T-Fal Teflon with added protectors
Ceramic Wear that good for cooking but easily broken.

. The reason why the importance of “U” tensils mentioned is that you need two sets of them in order to prepare your foods. You must have one set to use for meats only. The other set is to prepare your dairy

products, fruits and veggies. You must not mix the foods, as each set of “U” tensils make sure that when you prepare the food it remains Kosher.
