In my last posting I wrote that “Jerusalem does not belong to Israel. Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish society.” and I wondered whether the Jews of America had “the courage to stand up at that incredible turning point in history and stop that runaway Israeli government?”

Well, we have the reply, and it’s called the Coordinating Council on Jerusalem. You can find them at www.ccjer.org.

The CCJ is a broad-based coalition of

major American Jewish organizations which take differing views on many matters, but which unite around the firm conviction that Jerusalem is the Capital of the Jewish citizens and the heritage of all Jews everywhere and that oppose any negotiations which involve possible concessions of Jewish sovereignty or control by Jerusalem.

Al Quds (the Holy) is the Arabic name for Jerusalem.
