who spoke to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity to avoid compromising his sources, said the attack seemingly targeted a northern Syrian facility that was labeled an agricultural research center, close to the Turkish border.According to the expert, Israel has kept a close eye on the facility, believing that Syria was using it to extract uranium from phosphates.

Such reporting may easily be dismissed as speculative rumor, however, more background into past Syrian nuclear ambitions build the accusation worthy of further consideration.
