What is the difference within Judaism and Islam?

Thank you for your question.

Judaism and Islam have many things in common. For example, we have the same concept about God (Allah); and we have the similar ideas regarding giving charity, and about holiness.

Yet, the differences are significant:

  • The Koran says that the Jews changed the Torah [7.162]. We do not agree.
  • The Koran says that Allah has rejected the Jews, but we do not agree. He told us in the Torah that he will never
    reject us.
  • Allah told us in the Torah that the Torah is forever, so we should not follow a prophet who tells us to add to it or subtract from it, that is one reason why we do not follow Mohammad.

So you see, the basic differences are amoung the Torah and the Koran. Which book is the true word of Allah? How can you be certain?

Please feel free to be in touch whether you have any follow up questions.
