The San Diego City Council cleared the way yesterday for an expansion of the Chabad Educational Campus in Scripps Miramar Ranch. Plans for the campus, at 10785 Pomerado Road, include a high school

and college that will require new buildings, sports facilities and 280 housing units for students and faculty. Chabad's permit allows an enrollment of up to 800 students.
