Two people were arrested by the police following the shootout.

Police believe that the suspects arrested were on their way to assassinate underworld kingpin Nissim Alperon, who arrived at the place shortly after the incident, and who resides close to the crime scene.

The man killed in the shootout is known to the police as a member of one of Israel’s crime families.

The incident began when a police
